Cape Tribulation is located in Far North Qld 1 817 km n-w of Brisbane. It is aptly named as the location where Capt Cook ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef in 1770. Today it is part of the magnificent 16 965 ha Cape Tribulation NP encompassing rugged mountain ranges, dense rainforests, beautiful beaches and an enormous flora variety.
